In the lecture on Friday Professor Kather put into perspective how relevant the illustrations in "The Book of Job" were. Each plate of the story had an illustration to correspond with what happened in that section of the book. The reading it's self was not exactly the most entertaining of pieces but the illustrations played a major role in explaining what was about to occur.
