It was quite shocking that even after 67 times of giving that same lecture Professor Denis still got emotional during certain parts of his presentation. To me all this means that the Holocaust is still a very real and scary part of history that some still have a hard time comprehending its magnitude. I have been to Germany before and I was able to visit a Jewish holding cell. When I was there the tour guide stressed deeply that the Holocaust is not something to joke about and just like in Professor Denises lecture this realization was embedded into my memory once again. However something new that I learned during the presentation was the amount of art work that the Jewish prisoners were producing to keep their sanity during the horrific confinement. Art was the safe haven these people went to when their spirits were completely broken.

Reflection on Lecture Given by Professor Denis
It was quite shocking that even after 67 times of giving that same lecture Professor Denis still got emotional during certain parts of his presentation.
