Understanding The Brain: Professor Lovett

Dr. Lovett spoke of a number of different parts of the brain that I was unfamiliar with in the past. The entire lecture was interesting but one point that was brought up was particularly interesting. Dr. Lovett talked about a syndrome know as Korsakoff syndrome which is sever short term memory loss caused by excessive alcohol consumption. The reason i found this so interesting was because as a college student I understand the effects alcoholism can cause. I never know that it could actually cause a syndrome.
