Second Half of Job

Is Such A Conception of God Still Relevant in the Modern World?

Absolutely! People often want to find blame in God whenever a tragedy occurs. Not saying that I'm any different but psychology it is easier to say why did this have to happen to me. What could I possibly done so wrong to deserve such wrong doing. Job did exactly this, immediately blaming God for his punishment when in reality God was looking out for Jobs best interest. As hard as it may seem at times the power of prayer might just be the best solution.

  1. I think so, too. I could say what he did first was not a right thing, in other words, it was not the thing God was expecting him to do. But eventually, he found the answer, which was good for him.
